Description

Holistic counselling uses a trauma-informed lens to explore the interconnectedness of the physical body, mental body, and spiritual body. Holistic counselling helps in understanding the patterns that helped you survive, while learning how to shift into new ways of being that support your healing. These sessions are designed for individuals who are open, curious, and actively walking the path of conscious healing. Together, we explore your trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and conditioned patterns — while gently teaching how to shift into more regulated, integrated, and empowered states. Unlike traditional talk therapy, this approach is not based on diagnosis or clinical labels. This model doesn’t focus on diagnoses or labels. It doesn’t see you as broken or in need of fixing. Instead, it honors your experiences as intelligent responses to your environment — shaped by your nervous system, life story, and survival wisdom. These sessions take a teaching-based approach and incorporate holistic tools and somatic practices such as sound therapy, breathwork, Reiki, nervous system education, and spiritual integration. Holistic counselling sees you as a whole being — not just a mind to analyze or a body to fix, but a soul to witness, support, and empower. Sessions may be aligned with you when: - You’re consciously healing and open to learning more about yourself. - You’ve already explored your trauma responses and want deeper integration work. - You want to understand your patterns, not just name them. - You sense that healing is not just mental — it’s physical, emotional, spiritual, and energetic. - You’re looking for tools to support nervous system regulation and emotional resilience. - You resonate with somatic practices like breathwork, sound therapy, or Reiki. - You want to learn how to shift from coping to consciously choosing. *Sessions are covered by most healthcare insurance plans under Naturopathic consultations. Direct billing is available where possible and receipts are provided for self submission when direct billing is not available.
